Sony: Killzone 2 ad-campaign to launch “mid Feb”
Sony UK has told videogaming247 that its £2m Killzone 2 ad campaign including the newly announced web-game is to launch “mid Feb.”
“We’re targeting mid Feb to pre-promote Killzone 2,” a Sony UK rep told VG247 this afternoon.
On top of the web-game and advertising spots, Sony has also revealed that a Killzone 2 bundle will also be available at launch (Feb 27) for £299.99.
Febraury is now officially Killzone 2 month.

That’s a retailer bundle, I’d guess, which may or may not be an official bundle plus retailer-added extras. Nothing’s to stop retailers adding stuff to the KZ2 one.

Officially Killzone 2 month? Try telling Microsoft (Halo Wars) and Rockstar (GTA: Lost and Damned) that.

Yeah, because an RTS and DLC can really standup to the behemoth that is Killzone 2 at this point.

I can imagine Take Two trying to give Sony a run for their marketing money with TLATD, actually. But ultimately it can’t chart because they don’t count XBLA downloads into the figures, so Killzone’s got a huge advantage.

typical xbot rant. you think just because it says halo on it,that rts will sell well….You know what with dumb ass xbots out there like you i don’t doubt it.have fun playing your rts, i and many others (including some converted xbots) will be enjoying K2, the fps that murdered halo for the supposedly crown.

I think I’ve changed my mind about enforced birth control.

Killzone 2 does look awesome, I can’t wait for it. But it’s not the only big game out next month, there’s loads.
In fact, along with Halo Wars and GTA, there’s also House of the Dead and F.E.A.R 2.
Lots of big name titles… Killzone 2 is one of the headlining games… but it’s not ‘Killzone 2 month’

trust me bringit many have been waiting for this game since 2005 to see sony fall and to laugh in their face. well its been 4 years and those same ass holes have a different kind of feeling if you ask me.nobody has been waiting for halo rts or fear2 like killzone. maybe Street fighter 4 of course. so take that into consideration when people say feb is KZ month

I’m of the opinion that you’re fooling yourself if you think DLC can realistically take out Killzone 2.
