That wasn't a brain fart, that was brain diarrhea. I'm surprised you bothered to sift through it Retroid.

Anyway, cutting prices doesn't destroy the market, it moves or even widens it. The only market Microsoft's price cutting is destroying is the one Sony wants to sell to. Sure you can go too far with the price cutting but Microsoft haven't, they're making money after their initial loss leading.

"ps3 updates rule always.... pc gaming has always been at 1080i... i cannot see the difference between xbox1 and 360 except for HD space and slightly enhanced menu interface.... i buy Nike Air trainers for that down in harrow shopping centre,lol!... (due to no blue-ray, for 360 to compete with ps3 it must reserve 20 gigs on its HD to use as ram to get the most out of the hd-disc’s or dvd disc’s its using and game data must be so large like 4gigs of game data for faster loading)... it makes you fink... at the time nintendo had the power cart’s that are still powerfull than any softmat like disc’s n stuff... if i were PS3 or 360 i would always be worried about ninendo and sega’s amazing hidden programming which makes games so great like mario and sonic.... xbox and PS still has no anthems.... Blees all, peace"

ps3 updates rule always and sony has so much electronic links and beg friend links in south korea to make crazy superior micro chips in their playstation systems! xbox has a nice advantage being microsoft but not so much an advantage if your like me and has had years and years of pc gaming experience and i'm talking 2k Pc system here with 3 fans, no cheap pc, a good powerfull pc can give xbox and ps3 together a great challenge as pc gaming has always been at 1080i from the days our eyes didnt notice it, you can get HD viewing on an old vga using an HDMI stripper! After xbox1 i got the ps3! y didnt i get the 360? to be quiet honest, i cannot see the difference between xbox1 and 360 except for HD space and slightly enhanced menu interface which i got on my EVOX modded xbox and i use an hdmi/rgb 1080p + digital box which turns my xbox1 pretty much into the elite but with old games, lol, not really old seen as xbox360 aint blue ray, how on earth xbox even keepin up? oh yea 129 quid, i buy Nike Air trainers for that down in harrow shopping centre, lol! i Own a ps3 and xbox doesnt come close, no ps3 online charges, xbox charges 40 quid per year plus you already paying a broadband service as it is and maybe few kids to feed, also ps3 allows any usb, mem card devices to work plug and play almost as good as a pc it self which in a way every system with firmware and software is always pc based or pc motherboard electronics driven! Ps3 disc's are true blu-ray with up to 50gb per disc and lowest being 25gb thats like 13.5gb of hi def sound and 13.5gb of hi def graphics on the smallest disc size being 25gb! Ps. i think cartridges should be brought back in due to the mastering of memory cards nowadays we now know that its the same sematics without any voltage or transistors connected somewhere on the cartridge card! Nintendo should have come more on top which they did in a way but they just working when they figured out the motion controller stuff when ps3 already has sixaxes and because is a bluetooth controller it does not need to be held anywhere near a sensor, ps3 has more future possibilities than xbox and nintendo because ps3 wont allow you to keep buying add-on devices for it like xbox and Nin-Wii (i like my Wii's wifi i must say so just xobs360 gets the slag-off,lol) check out the cheap minds of people but then when u add it up its like ;; xbox= £129, wireless controller (official)= £18, bigger HD (due to no blue-ray, for 360 to compete with ps3 it must reserve 20 gigs on its HD to use as ram to get the most out of the hd-disc's or dvd disc's its using and game data must be so large like 4gigs of game data for faster loading) lets say 70 quid for an E-bay one= £80+ P+P, Per year to play online even if its hard to connect when server is down, lol =£40, handheld device to remote play and stuff = £0.00 (no its not free, it just don't exist, shame on you microsoft) FINAL NOTE: RE Remote Play ;; A microsoft pc running a microsoft operating system should be able to use software to emulate and or stream his or her xbox360 screen just like on ps3 via psp but with out the fancy hd handheld psp goodie and every Microsoft incorperated system should have wifi built-in, if all my pda's and old windows mobiles had wifi even my xbox should have had it, it makes you fink, xbox360 is cheaply made not even worth the 129 quid trainers monies they are chatting about, ps3 is staying its fair high price because they know ya getting quaility and you could just use ya ps3 as a Linux based OS anyhow, ps3 and sony in general will always have so much to offer, Ps, Oh yea,, did anyone know that the PS1 should have been Nintendo's machine but at the time nintendo had the power cart's that are still powerfull than any softmat like disc's n stuff, they didnt want to cram 64bits into a same old grey block like the 8-bit nintendo, they wanted a black or dark machine like Sega's never widely released Terror-Drive (like a 32-bit sega mega-cd console) and because nintendo did the 64-bit, sega jumped straight for the 128-bit, if i were PS3 or 360 i would always be worried about ninendo and sega's amazing hidden programming which makes games so great like mario and sonic, xbox and PS still has no anthems. Blees all, peace

Um.. how is the market being destroyed by lower entry prices? Surely that would stimulate sales, as last year's figures seem to indicate...
