SCEE is refusing to release the PS3 version of Super Street Fighter HD Remix in Europe because of “faults and other problems,” according to Capcom UK spokesman Leo Tan.

Supposedly, the game must be “redone,” according to this ThePSN.co.uk report.

Capcom is working on yet another version to submit to SCEE “within three weeks.”

The fighter was successfully release on the US PSN late last year.

Thanks, Joystiq.

Faults and other problems which the Americans clearly don’t notice?

All depends if they noticed and ignored.

America has it easy when it comes to releasing titles on their stores, minimum of twoL

    - America and Canadian.

Europe has up to 22+ stores to publish every week and it’s not an easy process.

Anyway, it can’t be SCEE’s fault for this. It’s capcom for submitting shody code.

As my old QA manager once said “SCEA would certify a turd in a box if it meant less work for them”. Later proven when they certified a game I was working on where it was still possible to get to a debug menu by 3 common button presses.

Well according to that site rumours say its because the game dosnt come with Trophies, despite it being released after Sony asked all devs to include them in their games, sounds plausable, SCEA should have actually done the same.

In Eurogamer’s report, Mr. Tan states that he didn’t talk to the site you mention, but that Capcom are keen to have the game released as soon as possible on the EU PSN.

How the hell can the delay be due to fault?

The game works *flawlessly* as it is. It’s not like there’s some sort of huge fault in the EU PS3 that would require some sort of seismic shift in the construction of the game.
