It basically unlocks the game for those unlucky enough to have wondered into the simple trap of changing your details via the Account Management via the XMB. Doing something as simple as changing your email address would lock you out from the game and bring up the above error code. This has now been resolved with this update. You can get golds in most Novice events in the first go, but I've noticed some of the races on a certain track are solid as hell and take a lot of repeats to get 1st place.
