Microsoft has moved Gamefest, the company's annual game developers conference, to the first quarter of 2010, writes Gama.

Apparently, several attending development houses had contacted Microsoft requesting the move due to it's usual summer slot proving inconvenient this year.

Gamefest is the devlopment conference formerly known as Xfest and is based in Seattle.
