Sony have hit their PS3 target, will just miss the PSP target and always expected slightly lower software sales (it was in their projection for this fiscal year). But the highly profitable PS2 has dropped much more than expected. Consequently, although this is very bad news, and although the PS3 needs to do much better, I don't think this is the end of the world. PS2 is going to die someday, I just hope that Killzone 2 et al and a price drop re-stimulate PS3 growth in 2009/10.
