Outrun Online Arcade is to be an Xbox 360 exclusive in the US.

According to this CVG report, the game will not be released on PSN at all in America.

Sega’s refused to comment on the reasons behind the move.

There’s no date on the Sumo-developed games as yet, apart from early 2009.

Oh dear. I sense a tremor in the internets.

I think that’s a decidedly shitty move to go for. If you’re going to buy a platform exclusive, at least do it before it’s been announced for the other platform.

This sort of stuff is inevitable given MS’s anaemic first party support, but still, it’s a shitty move for US PS3 users.

I wouldn’t have thought it affects them too badly. It’s not like they can’t grab it off the Euro store if they really want it.

Cool! MS are really ramping up the DD war. First the GTAIV Vamipre thingy and now this.

    Well played.

I’d be interested to hear the reasoning behind this and whether it really is just getting a moneyhat from MS in the US, or whether it’s something to do with Sony.

GTAIV vampires? What? Did I miss a memo? :-D

The Lost and the Damned. You play as the Grand Master of an American Vampire Coven masquerading as a biker gang. You battle it out with the ancient Romanian coven over who controls the bloodflow in the city.

Sounds pretty swish to me. A bit of s surprise though. Never thought R* would go supernatural.
