Square: PS3 must have attractive games to improve attach rate, FFXIII demo detailed
Square Enix’s Yoshinori Kitase has told Famitsu that in order to increase that PS3′s attach rate, it needs to have attractive games, and that’s where the FFXIII demo plays its part.
Kitase also went on to say that as Final Fantasy XIII is such a long way away, the Japanese PS3-only demo will concentrate on the basics of the game.
Kitase added that completion is now in sight, so expect an announcement soon.

Judging by his comments, my prediction of a Christmas 2009 release for Japan is seeming ever more likely.
