Mario Power Tennis Wii dated [Update]

mariotennis1b1.jpg

Nintendo has sent word that the Mario Power Tennis Wii-make will be released on March 6th.

Coming out one month after its Pikmin counterpart, this old GameCube game has added Wii-mote support plus a few other tweaks.

On the subject of Pikmin, go here for loads of Wii-make screenshots.

Update: GI informs us that these Wii-makes will cost £39.99 at retail.

Thanks, Blerk.

WHAT!?

Nintendo are an absolute joke these days.

So they’re releasing a slightly updated version of the Gamecube Mario Tennis, which was in itself only a slightly updated version of the N64 Mario Tennis!!

Useless.

They’re getting their revenge on people for not buying the Cube.

Don’t be a snob. :-P

Anyway, most of the people with a Wii never had a GC or N64.

Actually, I’ll revise that – Nintendo think the public are. They might not buy them yet.

£40? Fuh-huck right off!

I’d have bought Pikmin again for £20 too.

Can’t wait. My Wii has been sitting dormant since this summer. I recently started playing Wii Tennis and love it now. Can’t wait to get this one!

P.S. Mario Kart Online is amazing! I hope this one allows online play as well.
