December NPD: Wii Play beats Call of Duty 360 to number 1 spot
The NPD software results are here Wii Play and has pipped Call of Duty World at War 360 to the number one spot in the final US sales figures for 2008.
The full list is as follows:

- WII GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR – ACTIVISION BLIZZARD – 850K
- 360 GEARS OF WAR 2 – MICROSOFT – 745K
- 360 LEFT 4 DEAD – ELECTRONIC ARTS – 629K
- NDS MARIO KART – NINTENDO OF AMERICA – 540K

Yes, but it comes with an extra controller! That’s the reason why people buy it.
But anyway, I’m sorry guys. I didn’t get a chance to purchase Wii Fit, thus the 999K units sold.
