Has there ever been a really good Western game?

The Wild ARMs series is pretty good, although obviously they don’t count as “traditional” Western games. There’s a new one coming out soon I think which I saw a preview for in some magazine… damned if I can remember the name though. I thought it looked quite good from the preview anyway.

    Red Dead Revolver was excellent.

Outlaws says “hello”. Call of Juarez was mostly good too.

I got up to the Billy segment where you’re trying to get to the mine.

Kept getting killed, left it there. Intend to go back, though!

I hope to God theres no stealth segments in this time, the Billy parts were the worst especially since the Preacher bits were so good. That and they keep the bizarre sense of morality to themselves.

You can’t shoot a horse! GAME OVER.

Gun could have been good. Could have.

Yeah, it was odd all in First person, but not to pretend to be an insider or anything, but the devs sent me a copy free.

If you are in the UK and you see this, I checked the proof-read the blurb (badly too).

So I am glad to see/hear this is coming, and yes, Red Dead was awesome, as was this. Red Dead was insanely difficult though.

    Isn’t Wild Arms a JRPG?
