The BBFC has awarded Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars an 18 rating - a first for Nintendo DS.
The game apparently “contains very strong language and drug references,” warns the governing body.
Also, the BBFC page reveals the Chinatown Wars contains 168 minutes of cut-scenes, so there’s plenty to see and do it seems.
GTA: Chinatown Wars is coming to DS in the US on March 17 and Europe three days later.

SEGA Casino got an 18+ rating from the PEGI, in in a way, GTA isnt the first.

Well, it is the first BBFC 18, so the headline’s still accurate.
Anyway, 168 minutes of cutscenes? Let’s hope they’re spread out well. I think ‘cutscenes’ might be pushing it too - as far as I’m aware it’s just static 2D cartoon pics of the characters (though I may be wrong).

Gambling games by and large don’t get 18+ any more. They used to mostly at the insistence of Greece but a year or so ago there was some agreement. They’re usually 12+ now and most of them have been re-rated as such. A few seemed to have slipped through the net though.
I think Dementium: The Ward is PEGI 18+ / BBFC 15
