magnacarta1b.jpg

According to this arstechnica piece, developer Softmax has announced that Magna Carta Crimson Stigma is coming to Xbox 360.

Nothing else is known other than that the game is in development although it is assumed Atlus will publish in the West.

It will be the third title in the Magna Carta series and it will be the first time the game has appeared on Xbox.

More through the link.

I’d hardly call that an announcement, it was briefly “mentioned” in Softmax’s press release yesterday that it had signed a “cultural content” agreement with Korean PMC Production. All it said was that Softmax has Magna Carta: Crimson Stigma, as well as 2 NDS games, in development.

The first one had lovely breasts.

/edit/ Or maybe it wasn’t the first if this is the third. The PS2 one which got released here anyway.

The PS2 game was ‘Crimson Stigmata’, released in the West as ‘Tears of Blood’. This appears to be the sequel to that game.

Interesting, but I wouldn’t bet on seeing it in the West after the last game’s critical and retail reception.
