New Resistance Retribution screenshots

Over at Watch Impress. The PSP shooter is looking very sharp indeed, we reckon. The game will be the first of its kind to use PSP Plus technology which enables players to use their PS3 controllers to play the game.

Resistance Retribution is set for a Spring 09 release.

Yeah. That whole ‘use PS3 controllers to play PSP games’ just smells of bad idea.

I really can’t see how that’d work without TV-out. Which my PSP doesn’t have.

It does sound like an amazingly bad idea.

It’s the Playstation Portable, after all. It’s hardly all that portable if one is lugging around a PS3 pad and has to set the PSP up on a desk somewhere to actually enjoy a game.

Sony’s made a lot of good innovations, but I feel that this isn’t one of them.
