Braid PC for “February-March 2009″

braida.jpg

Jonathan Blow’s Braid will release on PC in “February-March 2009,” the developer’s said on his blog.

Blow had originally planned to release the platformer’s new version this year, but… didn’t.

“I had originally announced the release date for the end of 2008, but for various reasons, this hasn’t happened,” said Blow.

“Once we slipped into mid-October and all the big Christmas-season blockbusters started coming out, it just seemed like a bad idea to schedule Braid for that time period, as it seems likely it’d get released and then disappear.”

More through there.

The missus really hates this game. She says it’s “sinister” and gives her the creeps. I think I’ll buy the full thing. :-D

I should try it, really. I have to say it’s never really appealed, though. There aren’t any guns in it.

Beautiful game.

No need for me to buy it again, but if the PC version ends up being cheaper, I’d encourage anyone who hasn’t tried it to get a copy.

Blerk,

Braid does feel a bit wierd. I think your missus is onto something.

I absolutely love Braid. Sure, its not the hardest puzzler ever, but it’s challenging and very fun!

i was actually thinking of buying it last week, but then I got it for free from that VGA contest :)
