LittleBigPlanet patched to 1.07, store added
As PS3F reports, LittleBigPlanet has now been patched to v1.07, the newsworthy addition in this update being a new store.
The shop shows all the DLC available for the game, and also allows you to instantly equip your sack thing with any kit you’ve already bought.
The level search functionality’s been given a revamp as well, allowing you to view the highest rated levels, the most hearted levels, the newest levels and the busiest levels.
Amazing. More through the link.

Well … coming from a PC gaming background, I’ve been brought up by developers who kept yammering on in my ear about how post-release patches are grand; for fixing bugs, adding new features, and refining a game into perfection based upon user feedback. Therefore, patches are good, the PC stands as testament to that as there has rarely ever been a bad patch for a game. (Though the soulless milking that is premium DLC has lead to some patches being thinned out in recent years as far as content is concerned.)
It’s companies who’re slow at patching or those who’re simply too lazy to do so deserve to be vilified. They know who they are. :p And in this day and age, where consoles can be patched as easily as PCs, there’s really no excuse for slacking off.
