Apparently, 360′s global installed userbase is around 25 million. So one percent of that is 250,000. I’d do what MS has done though and call it “less than 1%”. Sounds better.

Its a percentage they can be happy about, instead of 70%, which is neither market share nor reliability.

I would wager that a small number of Wii and PS3 users have abnormal problems too, its part of the grind in mass production.

The sad part is that you have to pay to have your disc replaced if destroyed.
