My son seems to be developing a potentially unhealthy interest in RTS games. He picked this out of the new issue of Edge as the game to ask me loads of questions about. In the previous issue he was suspiciously curious about Red Alert 3 and the Dune 2 retro feature.

I would be more excited if this was on PC. RTS on consoles is just not fun. RTS is a competitive genre. You can have competitive games with the slow pace of the control in console rts games.

I’m lookng forward to playing this, though I’ll rent before I buy. RTS games on console don’t work as well as they do on PC, though they are getting better.
