Awesome Mafia 2 trailer shown at VGAs
After the break. The Illusion Softworks open-worlder is showing exceptional presentation at this stage, if nothing else. There’s no gameplay in the footage, but oodles of atmosphere. And we’re all about the atmosphere.

I seriously loved the original Mafia, aside some of the driving stuff. Killing that dude on the boat with a bucket was one of my all-time gaming highlights.
I wish they’d do Hidden and Dangerous 3, though.

Of everything shown last night it’s this which excites me most. (God of War second, Brutal Legend / Terminator a distant third)

Lost Heaven is a distant memory then as this is obviously New York. Looks good and the original Mafia on PC was a classic, if rather tricky at times (the car park was pretty brutal), I’m not going to bitch about the race though, I did that within half a dozen attempts pre-patch!

The original Mafia game was pure genius, it was a great game! and this trailer just adds hype for the 2nd one which i am really looking for!
