Resident Evil 5 – Split-screen co-op in video

OXM’s posted a movie of split-screen co-op from the Resident Evil 5 demo released in Japan today. Get it here.

It looks as though the content’s the same stuff as was shown at the Eurogamer Expo earlier this year, containing the chap with the chainsaw and a bag on his head.

This clip’s got a great ending. She was asking for it, y’honour.

Seriously, get the demo. Co-Op action. This first scene is akin to the shack in Resi 4, but with two players: not bad.

Not really, don’t need to chat, although it would make things easier considering you heal eachother and solve puzzles/tasks etc.

So knowing when each other is in trouble is quite important.

I got it in the end, pretty… Samey… if it didnt look so good i’d say it was a RE4 mod not that thats a bad thing, speaking of gfx; Screen Tearing!! Gah!!!

Well i looked into it and i’m not mad, other people have noticed its screen tearing, 1up even pointed it out in their latest preview.

Major disappointment. I loved Resident Evil 4, but technology has moved on and playing this game it’s like Dead Space never happened. :(

I see what you mean, its not really a horror game anymore, and the reuse of most of RE4′s animations is blantant.

Need more good Resident Evil-type games. This is nothing but a 3PS, a fun one, but it’s not Resident Evil any more, imo.
