North American Killzone 2 release date officially announced

killzone2art.jpg

On a recent episode of G4 television program X-Play, Sony officially announced the drop date for next first-person man-penetration sim, Killzone 2.

And contrary to an earlier Gamespot report, it’s February 27, 2009 – not February 17.

However, as of now, that date only applies to North America. Other territories are still TBA.

More Killzone 2 tomfoolery through the link. Also killing, we guess.

Longer to wait… Ugh

Anyway, bolt gun looks ghey, will not use it, and I will not heal my teamates with that ridiculous zapper thing.

Patlike did you go to that event?

Heh, this thing has been pushed so much that no one cares about this game anymore or what?

It’s supposedly very good, so I guess if it actually brings something fresh to the table I think it can sell a few copies here and there. :)

I’m pretty sure Gekidami is right. This looks good and I’m slowly getting more interested in it.
