I hear ya on that one.
It may graphically be superior on consoles as they claim, but I think by the time it comes out, most pc players will be done with it and move on/ look forward to the next in the series(?).
Well, that's the assumption I'm making heh.

But bleh, PC gamers are above that console bickering... WE all know we have the best graphics, controls and games ;) heh.

It's interesting to see CDProjekt go console with their game and make huge claims. I think they can fulfill their ambitions and I want them to do it.

They seem really dedicated and I like that trait in a Dev studio (which many now seem to lack or lost).

Consider this: The console version will have a new engine and new art assets, therefore there's a good chance it might actually look a great deal better than the PC version. If that's the case, then people are going to say that they want that aspect of the console version carried over. And those console users who consider themselves witty are going to fall back on that very quote to needle PC gamers with.

Pff, if you want better graphics, you just secretly lust after consoles.

I can only imagine what this may cause between the PC/console fans on their forums.

It's an assumption, sure, but let's wait and see.

I think you may have misread that. He was addressing the divide between console and pc gamers and their preference of controls; implying that if you prefer the controls on the console, then maybe you aren't just a mouse and keyboard person as 'some' pc gamers claim, and like some features they created to cater to the consoles' controls.

Well that's the way I saw it.
Anyway, I'll probably get this game on console as well. Just to applaud them for the fantastic support they give their game. And Witcher has become one of my favourite all time games too.

"[...] any PC gamers who get upset about missing out on the features are hiding a dark secret: they actually prefer console games and controls."

Oh, that's going to go over well with their PC gaming audience...
