2008 PlayStation Award winners announced

SCEJ's announced its 2008 PlayStation Award winners, which are basically sales gongs for PlayStation games in Japan.

Gold prizes got to titles that sold between 500,000 and 1 million copies. Double platinum prizes go to sales between 2 and 3 million.

To the chase. This year's Gold Prize winners are:

  • Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3
  • Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII PSP
  • Phantasy Star Portable PSP
  • Winning Eleven 2008 PS2
  • Super Robot Taisen Z PS2

This year's sole Double Platinum Winner is:

  • Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G PSP
