First Gears 2 patch attends to multiplayer waiting times
According to X3F, Epic’s released the first Gears of War 2 patch, the main thrust of which is to solve long waiting times in matching multiplayer games.
Epic’s Rod Fergusson is optimistic that today’s patch will squash Gears 2′s online multiplayer problems, saying that he hopes “the matchmaking issues we’ve seen up till now are a thing of the past.”
More through there.

Epic fail. Before this patch it could take up to two minutes to get into a match. Now, after this patch, I can sit there and search for up to 30 minutes for an opposing team without finding anything and therefore failing to get into a game at all. Thanks Epic!

Epic lulz?
Edit… That’s odd, I was just checking the Gears forums to post a link here so others can view the angry customers… but there don’t seem to be any. Astonishingly there even seem to be people thanking them for the patch.
Not sure what’s going on with you Smarty. Sucks though, obviously.
