About THE LAST REMNANT

Story

In ancient times, mysterious artefacts referred to as Remnants were discovered all over the world. Offering incredible power, they soon came into the hands of the covetous few, and thus was the world’s delicate equilibrium shattered. The people were divided into those who ruled and those who were ruled over. War was inevitable. Our story begins a thousand years later…

Rush lives with his sister Irina on the secluded Eulam Island, a place far removed from the ceaseless battle for control over the Remnants which rages on the mainland. However, his peaceful life is shattered one day when he witnesses his sister’s abduction by a mysterious group of soldiers. He immediately sets off after them, ill-prepared for the evils of the outside world but determined to find his sister at any cost.

I’ve no idea what to make of this one. The reviews are all over the place.

  2. Psychotext said:

On the bright side, that’s all pretty cheap. I have no idea if it’s worth it or not though as I’m not a fan of the game.

  3. I’d say give it a bash.

It may not be perfect, but it’s definately different in a refreshing kind of way.

Smart tactic with the DLC; making the actual extra content free is a very smart move.

  4. Blerk said:

I might wait and pick it up from the bargain bin. It’s not like I’m short on stuff to play.

I just got You’re in the Movies.

  8. Psychotext said:

I just bought Artoon on community games. Try it, it’s cool. :D

  9. morriss said:

No community games for me. :(

  10. DrDamn said:

After the poor reviews it’s in my “pick it up cheap” pile, but it just got a little higher priority based on the above.

It’s crap to have to do it, but it does work.

  12. airdom said:

3/4 of the dlc is free, can’t complain.

  13. morriss said:

Cheers, psycho. Too much hassle though. Although I do have a US account I can try them out on though.

  14. DrDamn said:

    @airdom
You sure it’s not starting to be just plain ridiculous, and they aren’t just coming up with this useless dlc every week until they take all your money?

  15. airdom said:

    You bastard. haha.

i actually hadnt noticed that the chicken head was free yesterday.

  16. Shatner said:

Not entirely your fault airdom. It’s not like that article went to such lengths to detail the specifics of the LBP dlc as they did this one.

    I WONDER WHY?
