The 360 is on fire (in the individual format chart). That price drop in the lead up to Jesus birthday seems to be working miracles.

Why do you only report on the all format chart?

Don’t worry, Tonka. I’ll be doing my full chart analysis later.

Good. There are a lot of tea leaves to be readin the individual chart.

Individual charts are just fanboy fodder. All the Sony crowd get upset as all the multiplat titles sell more on 360. The Wii gets ridiculed as although it outsells its rivals 1 trillion to 1, no-one buys anything other than the game they got with the bundle and Wii play for the Wii-mote. The 360 also gets it in the ass for ruining the industry with shooters.

Not always. PS3 beat 360 easily in Tomb Raider sales this week.

Are vg247 shying away from fanboy fodder now? Since when?

“Are vg247 shying away from fanboy fodder now?”
Unless there’s a VG247 “strategic” re-staffing, I think it’s safe to say the answer to that is an emphatic “No”.

In fact, I think I’ll link to my own chart thread. Just to blow my own trumpet. Matron.

Are we all being too polite to mention that LBP continues its barnstorming chart run? A minor triumph this week – down just 5 places instead of last week’s 15.

Only 3 new entries charting above it, which means it’s lost ground to 2 other games it was outselling last week – one of which seems to be Kung Fu Panda.
Oh dear. That’s going to make Esha want most of humanity to die again.
And it’s looking like farewell, then, Mirror’s Edge. It seems like we hardly knew you.

Kung Fu Panda is currently being bundled with the 360, and it was also out on DVD recently. Which possibly explains the resurgence.

LBP was too pure for this world.
