The Punisher: No Mercy gets first footage
The first gameplay video of PSN-exclusive FPS The Punisher: No Mercy’s been released, as you can see after the break.
Looks… standard. The Zen game was announced back in September, and has no release date as yet.

I’m a huge Punisher fan, but I’m not sure if this was the right way to take the franchise game wise. Many people are already going to be busy with Resistance 2, CoD5 and a multitude of other multiplayer games, so releasing a stand alone arena based FPS is a slightly bizarre move.
Loved the PS2 Punisher game though, simple but refined, and it completely captured the spirit of the character and comic books.

Looks alright i guess, perfectly suited to a late night impulse splurge…it’s gonna get hammered by Killzone 2 diehards though!
