DJ Hero to involve Tiesto, out summer 2009

This CVG piece reckons Acti-Blizz’s DJ Hero is going to involve everyone’s favourite trance-loving spaceman, Tiesto.

The news comes from a Tiesto fan newsletter, apparently.

“We are proud to announce that Tiësto has teamed up with the game developer Activision and their latest project DJ Hero,” reads the newsletter.

Activision will release a special Tiesto edition of DJ Hero – similar to Aerosmith and Metallica versions of Guitar Hero – which will contain classic Tiesto productions “as well as new music composed especially for the game.”

There’s been no official announcement as yet. More through the link.

You think its gonna sell well in Holland?

It will sell 10x more in Ireland, North and South, Tïesto is a god here.

He’s a very good DJ, worthy of being one of the best DJ’s ever, but I really dont see the fuss why everyone worships him like god.

Oh well, what can ye do.

I’m from South Ireland, and I have no idea who this guy is.

Then again, it’s not my kinda music.

Congrats, I guess.

You’d need to be pretty savvy with dance music to know who he is.

Great news really! I guess I’ll begin my experience with music games thanks to DJ Hero and DJ Tiësto.

He’s also god in Latinamerica, so it will surely sell much here too (especially in Mexico).

“Saludos”!
