Tomb Raider: Underworld gets “OK” reviews

tombraiderunderworld5.jpg

Whoops. The Tomb Raider: Underworld review embargo’s up, and the first spread won’t be the scores Eidos was hoping for. Not bad, like, but not the promised beast.

Everything so far:

Game’s out on Friday for PS3 and 360.

I’ll give it a 5 for PC. Game felt rushed; controls were poor, animations and actions seemed cheap, puzzles were mediocre. Don’t mean to hate on the game, but it really feels like it was directed toward mature kids.

Bonkers. It was so promising when they first showed it.

You know, I still think the game is good. I’ve played the demo, and it’s still Tomb Raider. The camera is a little dodgy, but I think I can manage with it.

Edge gave it a good review, and basically said that yes, it’s a good game. I’m still definitely going to get it.

I’ll hopefully be getting the PS3 version. Be interested to try it.

the controls were so annoying, trying to be like prince of persia game, which is kind of cool but failed to deliver, still an ok challenge, but gets frustrating when the levels are big.
