It's a rather pale imitation of Black & White, a few of the mechanics are there, albeit very basically, but it just lacks the charm of the Creatures. Whether any given person agrees with me or not though will depend on their opinion, for me, the charismatic Creatures of Black & White 1 > Avatars. But yes, that's basically what it was. There are better things to do on the new XE, that's for sure. It’s… what I thought it would be.
