NXE: First Avatar game, A Kingdom for Keflings, now available
The Major’s just confirmed the release of A Kingdom for Keflings, the first 360 game to supports Avatars.
The title’s a world-building thing, with the main characters your lovely new Avatars.

I’m not sure if it’s a good or a bad idea to release this today. It’s either going to get ignored because of NXE or picked up by people wanting to try out their avatars in a game.

It’s… what I thought it would be. It’s a rather pale imitation of Black & White, a few of the mechanics are there, albeit very basically, but it just lacks the charm of the Creatures. Whether any given person agrees with me or not though will depend on their opinion, for me, the charismatic Creatures of Black & White 1 > Avatars.
But yes, that’s basically what it was. There are better things to do on the new XE, that’s for sure.
