Microsoft opens NXE to all who signed up for preview

Here we go. Microsoft confirmed today that anyone who signed up for the NXE preview program will now receive the UI update when they switch on their 360s.

The move signals the first proper phase of the software’s roll-out, which will go Live-wide tomorrow.

NXE was given to 10,000 people as a preview last week.

No figures have been given on how many people signed up for the preview, but it’ll obvious pale into insignificance compared to the 14 million users that’ll be eligible to receive the new system tomorrow.

I signed up for the preview on Major, but was told the limit was full. But I thought the limit was 10,000.

I just don’t know any more! :’(

I think I sort of half signed up for it. If you did sign up you should get it when you turn your 360 on, according to the comments on that Nelson post.
