Swedish boy faints after 24-hour WotLK session

wowwrathofthelichking31.jpg

Like, dur. Swedish paper the Kvällsposten’s reporting that a 15 year-old boy collapsed and started convulsing after playing Wrath of the Lich King for 24 hours without a break this week.

His father’s now warning other parents of the dangers of not eating, sleeping and working hard at a computer for unnatural lengths of time.

Message to world: stop being so fucking stupid, please.

Nice to see once again commonsense still rings loud and true in the world.

I did this once with WoW… =/

No great surprise that I ended up quitting for the sake of pretty much everything real in my life.

Lightweight.

No, really, I’ve stayed up for days on end (not on a game, though), though not by choice (insomnia is a heartless bitch).

Oh, and also, he’s a damn moron.

Games are like “Fishermen Friend”.
If they’re too strong, your too weak.

50 hours is the longest for me. 2 flights, 12 timezones.
I would do it again. :)
