I thought they did a good job of trying to get the game's tone and matching it to the capabilities of the hardware. If a similarly sensible approach is in place for this rendition I'm sure it'll be fine. Although bullshit gimmicks like whistling at a game are what make me hate Nintendo's brand of 'innovation'.
