Lich King sees first level 80 in 27 hours
Wrath of the Lich king has its first level 80, a warlock named Nymh.
Taking only 27 hours to create, the character flew to greatness on French server Drek’thar.
Nymh is 21 in the real world, and took time off work to accomplish the feat.

This shows a marked drop in popularity if you ask me.
The first level 70 in the Burning Crusade was much more noteworthy than this, by a great margin.
What aren’t you telling us about your subscriber-base, Blizz?
