It is indeed.

I’m pleased to see that Fallout 3 is doing well for itself there, too. For all of its flaws, it’s still the best RPG released this year. And no, that award doesn’t go to Fable 2.

I think you’ve got to play Fable II before you can comment on it, really. As in, play for hours, not 30 mins round a friend’s house.

Fallout 3 is head and shoulders above Fable 2. Ok, it’s more ‘hardcore’ than Fable but if you can get the hang of the controls, not only does it have more gameplay and depth it’s a better game too boot!

I “completed” Fable II yesterday and have Fallout 3 to get on with now, so I’m not in a position to compare.

No-one asked, but Fable 2 is my game of the year so far. Flawed, yes… but utterly compelling.

Zero Punctuation: The man without a point, and all the freedom to make it.

Lets try to judge games on our own basis, instead of relying on some gimmicky, cynical, overly jaded and probably overpaid “reviewer” to express it for us.

Kudos to Fallout 3 though. It’s well deserved. *thumbs*
