Big Fable II news announced next week, says Lionhead
According to this post on the Fable II dev blog, fans of the Lionhead RPG should be watching closely for something good to happen next week.
“Normally, we don’t like to tease too much,” said the post. “You know, all this hype being generated by teasing the announcement that there will be an announcement in X-number of days. Who cares? But in this day and age where a gazillion titles are asking for your attention, I felt it might be the right thing to do on the blog.
“We’ve got some G o o d [Good] news for all Fable II fans next week, dare I even say it’s quite a big announcement? Yes of course I dare say it’s a big announcement regarding Fable II, next week!”

I think you want to correct your title to “Big” Fable II news… as this site has a habit of putting any quoted statement in inverted commas when it makes up part of the headline.
I do so hate inconsistency you know.

Who cares, unless Molyneux comes on the interwebs and shares his new game, that stuff intrigues me.
Cannot wait for GDC, a lot of stuff I want to see there.
And any developer based in Guildford I am going to be biased towards really….

Loads of people care, tbh. It’s a) a brilliant game and b) has sold reasonably well. The promise of more content could also boost those sales.

Maybe it’ll be a patch that stops the crybabies on the Lionhead forums gnashing their teeth about the gimped execution of the co-op play.
Anyway, without quotation marks we can only deduce that it is VG247 themselves declaring that Lionhead’s statement is “big” news.
Then again, six inches is “big” to some.

I sunk 3 hours into it the other evening and then stopped being antisocial, but contrary to what I had thought, not only is the bread crumbs thing cool, but the art direction is a lot nicer than I thought, in person.
Also contrary to what I thought though, it’s nowhere near as free I thought, and it’s quite load heavy.
Didn’t capture me, which IS lucky because I can’t be round my friends all the time, and I can’t afford a 360 at the moment. Lets see after Christmas.

Too far now.
I just got Naruto in the post (FOR FREEE!) this morning, and I still want Valkyria and LBP. And I am missing LBP. And then I have all the other games too.
Anyway, only way forward now is to be a multiplatform owner.
