US Wii sales to show 45% year-on-year increase in October, says EEDAR
EEDAR’s put out its US sales estimates for October, predicting a Wii rise of nearly 45 percent to 750,000 units compared to the 519,000 sold in October 2007.
Xbox 360 will take a year-on-year tumble, said the firm, down from 366,000 to 270,000.
PS3, however, should have enjoyed a surge compared to the corresponding previous period, up from 121,000 to 220,000.
Fable II is expected to lead software sales for the month, with 750,000 units estimated.

Here’s mine… just for the hell of it. My heart isn’t really in it though, Nintendo keep screwing with their supply and making it difficult!
360 – 232K
NDS – 468K
PS2 – 143K
PS3 – 182K
PSP – 245K
Wii – 652K
I’m not sure where those figures for “last month” are from over at the GoNintendo link though.

Oh, and those Nintendo Wii numbers will be massive if they come off. The October reporting period is 4 weeks compared to the 5 weeks period of September.
To do it the Wii will need to sell 187.5k a week (It was 137.4k a week last month). I honestly wouldn’t be surprised though… nothing to do with Nintendo sales surprises me any more.
