They’ll probably be his own estimates though.

To be fair vgchartz correct their figures when official data are released … so it’s the weekly sold chart that is really inaccurate rather then the global sold chart .

@Messer: Do GfK do hardware numbers for free? I haven’t seen any. I don’t think vgchartz pay for their stuff.

morriss: If you can get COD4 cheap, you really should get it for the single player. It’s awesome. Rental, perhaps.

Chart Track and GfK don’t release their numbers for free as a matter of course. Occasionally they’ll throw us a bone, or somebody else who has paid for the figures lets them slip.

Truk: Yeah, I must play it one day. I just wasn’t prepared to play full-price for a game I’d play for six hours and never again.

COD4 for single player ? O.o It’s nice yeah , but It’s really short .

Sure, why not. I don’t play online games (LAN games, yes, online, ugh). I didn’t pay a lot for it and I think it was worth every penny.

I’ve heard the campaign is excellent, yeah. I really should play it, tbh.

Yeah, this isn’t surprising. A 360 shooter-sequel, a multiplatform shooter/RPG sequel in a massively successful franchise and a multiplatform football game. That is pretty much expected.

Oh, and the higher install base of the 360, which is full of the people that just eat up Gears-type games.
