Boy did that guy playing the wii music ‘air drums’ at E3 look mighty stoopid. Speaking as a drummer myself.

As interesting at how well Rockstar’s game is doing and the PS3 having a bit of a bounce, I’m more amused by Wii Music’s fall out of the top ten so quickly.

Well… everyone expects the PS3 to outsell the 360 in Japan. 360 winning out is more news-worthy because it’s not an obvious result.

I find it interesting that game sites who waved the “360 sells 1000 more units than PS3 in Japan – Sony is doomed!” flag over the last few weeks aren’t bothering with the fact that PS3 sold almost 5 times more than 360 last week.

GTA has always done very well in Japan. Don’t ask me why it succeeds when similar games fail, though. They just like it.

PS3 sales were no doubt influenced by GTA, LBP and the new “80gb and a game for the same price as you got a 40gb for last week” bundle. Funny what happens to your sales when you actually put some stuff out that people want to buy and effectively drop your prices, isn’t it?

PS3 also outsold the 360 and Wii last week, obviously down to GTA4, funny, last i heard GTA games didnt work over there.
