Epic dev boss Cliff Bleszinski has just said that he could sleep with loads of young men. If he wanted to.
“This would be a great job if I wanted to sleep with 15 year-old boys,” he said, talking on Irish radio station RedFM.
He also called DJ Victor Barry a “senior leprechaun” and claimed he doesn’t use his own spunk as hair gel.
“I try to keep as much semen out of my head area as possible,” he said when asked how he keeps his hair looking good despite driving a topless Lamborghini.
He was joking about the leprechaun thing, by the way. And the boys thing as well, we assume.
He went on to give a lengthy interview with what sounded like a rather knowledgeable Mr Barry, in which he explained why Epic made a sequel (”Why not? We looked at how well the first game did… it kind of made a lot of sense to do it”) and detailed the new additions to the game.
“The story was pretty bare-bones in the first one,” he said, saying that the sequel allowed the firm to “fully explore the situation with [Dom's] missing wife.”
Crawling and gore took up a healthy portion of the chat, with Bleszinski saying the game was more like gutting a turkey than “torture porn.”
He refused to be drawn on DLC saying that content may come “somewhere possibly down the line,” but said to wait for the announcements.
As for what he’s going to do when game ships?
“Sitting on a beach with a book and a beer,” he said.
Make sure you don’t take the 15 year-old boys along with you, Cliff.

Nothing the guy’s said is wrong to be honest.
And no, you wouldn’t think he was the only man on the development team, anyone who’s seen the documentary videos is quite well introduced to the main players on the team.

How Epic could allow a guy with an opinion like this about the video game industries interaction with children represent them, is something I don’t understand and is incredibly distasteful.
Gears of War is a game of excesive violence and very little substance. Not only does he promote violence to his self proclaimed demographic of 15-year-olds, which is illegal under the ESRB age restrictions. He also advertises Pedophilia as a joke.
He is just a stain on the fabric that is the video game industry. Epic should find anyone else they can to represent their company, absolutely anyone.
