Can’t wait for this game. I’ve downloaded the demo on Halloween and was pleasantly surprised. I want to get this as soon as it’s released. I’ve been in a video game slump and this game looks like it’s going to get me interested in gaming again.

Wish i could support it. I do really like, it, but my purchases are much better and I can’t afford anymore.

Come on then, Pud. What are you buying?

LittleBigPlanet and Valkyria Chronicles.

By the way, I am not a JRPG fan, I just wanted to try it beacuse the demo was awesome.

How about you?

I really love the music they’re using for ME.

I’ve no idea what I’m buying. There’s almost too much to choose from. :-)

Absolutely loved the demo of this. Played it back-to-back about 10 times over. I’d had a casual eye on this title but since that demo it’s become a ‘must have’ game overnight.

I’m hearing very good things from people that have spent some time with Valkyria Chronicles. It’s cheap too! Shame I have no time to play it. At least Mirror’s Edge should be quick to pick up and put down.

I fear that Valkyria Chronicles will be this generation’s Ring of Red.

Blerk, agreed!

I know Syrok ;)

Shatner, Ring of Red? All i read was reception, and it seemed worse a reception than Valkyria Chronicles so far.

Valkyria’s done very well at review, but has totally tanked at retail, unfortunately. :-(

Shatner: There will only be one Ring of Red this gen.

Yep. I have to say, playing through the demo at home after completing the tutorial was so much better than playing it at Eurogamer Expo. It’s a no-brainer for me.

Blerk, little early considering we haven’t had the release in EU/NA.

We won’t know until next month.

And 147,000 (as far as I remember, Psychotext amirite?) in Japan is pretty good for a niche title.

Pud, it was out in the EU last week. And only managed to reach number 18 on the PS3-only chart.

Tonka, that was cheap and unnecessary.

Thats not bad cosndiering all the major multipatform releases.

Was that stupid Chartrack without numbers?

(i thought it came out November 4th here :( )

No, that’s bad. However you look at it. Quite why they decided to bring the release forward to coincide with Fallout 3, LBP and a James Bond game, I have no idea.

Such a shame that original, different games get shoe-horned into limited releases and hidden on shelves behind big-budget stuff. And then they wonder why they don’t sell. :-(

Yes, they are stupid.

I would have preferred buy this next summer during the drought.

Pud: Almost… it’s done ~130k so far in Japan (~77k first week). It’s still a good showing for a HD title over there.

Not bad at all.

Need to buy it sharpish, or I can give it long legs lol. It deserves it.
