Damnation moves to 2009
Never saw this coming. Codemasters has told Eurogamer that Blue Omega’s Damnation has moved out of 2008 into next year.
“Damnation is being rescheduled for an early 2009 release,” said a rep.
“The game will be much stronger and better as a result, and will also give people time to get all the pre-holiday releases out the way – ready for the fresh (and vertical) gaming experience that Damnation offers.”
The game was originally pinned as a Christmas release and joins Codemasters fellow Rise of the Argonauts in its slip this week.

Not surprised it slipped, mostly because as far as I can tell absolutely nobody on the planet gives a shit about it.

Yeah was gonna say…was probably a good thing especially considering the competition in the form of the lineup this Christmas; mind you it would be considered commercial suicide for any low profile game like this to come out at Christmas. Doesn’t help that it looks shit and that Resi 5 comes out during that period also.
