Wait... restart option? Useless for me now that I've 100% finished the game, but nice for those picking it up in the future.

Is this the first Burnout DLC that you actually have to pay for, then? The rest was free, wasn't it?

Looks as if this really evens out the gameplay, on offer from Burnout Paradise. Makes for a more comprehensive experience, imo. There's screens and details of the Party content, up at Criterion's news page.

I'm impressed with how the makers handled the "no restarts" gripe, in particular (although a lot on what they've done with the game I think most would find inspiring.) They've stuck to their guns resolutely, until such point as their goal to broaden the appeal caused them to rethink that decision - crucially, AFTER dedicated players will have had full opportunity to enjoy "vanilla" play in Paradise City. Obviously, we don't yet know how the restarts will work, so that's still up in the air.

The Burnout Paradise Network also seems like a very interesting, and potentially exciting advent. With this content, Criterion, and EA, cement Burnout Paradise's stance of being a platform, or suite if you prefer, focused around their racing experience.

Don't tell me they actually listened?
