Guitar Hero World Tour launch trailer is amazing
Look. We hate rhythm action games. But Activision’s Guitar Hero World Tour launch trailer made us want to play it. It’s got the Chilli’s drummer saying it’s “revitalising the music industry” and Sting wanking on about how great it is. It’s got Ted Nugent saying the word “spiritual”. It’s got it all.
Goosebumps, honestly. After the break. The game launched in the US earlier this week.

seriously, you guys like this trailer? you encourage the activision greed! i havent tried this game yet as ill probably rent it tonight..but the music creator looks prettttty bad =/ imagine how many millions they have injected into their game to just to buy all those artists. by BUY, i literally mean buy those artist, cuz activision are become whores lately!
but heh, the trailer kinda sucks lol

I much much prefer the Rock Band 2 trailer. With the desert Rock bands playing on muscle cars. Woohoo. What do I care about the Prince of fucking darkness. They manage to make me want that *without* showing famous faces or game footage even.

exactly, rb2 doesnt show you a bunch of sellouts lol. i was more tempted to get rock band than guitar hero, even with all the big stars in gh:wt.
im pretty sure guitar hero will still sell more than rock band(maybe?) but i find that guitar hero is losing some of its appeal =/ too bad
