And if they end up inventing/acquiring some more new IP instead of just rehashing Sonic the bleeding Hedgehog, they might just catch a glimpse of the greatness they once had. Unfortunately, they've probably got 50-some Sonic games left in them before they realise the wisdom of this (said wisdom being: New IPs = Good), but this is a start. Indeed it is.
