Empire: Total War shows campaign map in movie
On Kotaku. It’s a trailer showing Creative Assembly’s latest in both 3D and isometric views. If it’s a stupidly in-depth 18th Century strategy game you’re after, you’ve pretty much ended your search.
It’s out next February. Take a look.

I reckon you’ll need a pretty chunky laptop to get a decent chance at running it, to be honest.

I’ve found they tend to run OK-ish on low settings. I’m happy playing it with everything turned down; it’s not a game where the graphics really matter that much.
