Bioshock 2 “destined” for PC, 360 and PS3, says 2K
A spokesperson for 2K Games has confirmed to Gamespot that Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams will come out on PC, 360 and PS3.
“BioShock 2 is destined for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms,” said the rep.
However, whether they mean simultaneous destiny or not is unclear at this time.

The fact that the trailer appeared on the PS3 version of Bioshock and popped up in yesterday’s US Live update should make pretty much all of this old news, no?

It’s the simultaneous release thing, innit. They needed an 800 strong army to port the game from 360/PC to PS3. So it’ll be interesting to hear how they’re effectively going to do it this time.

If they’re using the same engine then theoretically it should be much easier this time.

Theoretically, yeah. So 2K Games can just confirm it and we can all sleep that bit easier.

Maybe 2K are just shopping around for some kind of time exclusivity

It’ll definitely be a simultaneous release. The trailer debuting on the PS3 version of Bioshock is effectively a confirmation of that. I would have thought they’d have gotten to grips with PS3 development by now.
