Anyone know if Prince of Persia Classic is worth its price?

It’s very similar to the original. The controls are only slightly tarted up. Layout seems the same. Combat actually seemed a bit better. The cut scenes are designed by a 13 year old.

If you didn’t like the original then probably not worth bothering with. If you loved it all that;s great is still there. Just don’t expect a capcom reimagining.

I went back to the original after finishing the XBLA version. It does make you appreciate how much they improved on it control wise (I could barely get out of the first level anymore in the old one).

I had great fun with this for the few days it lasted anyway. Loved the little cutscenes too, despite the age of their designer. All very charming in a Sands of Time way.

Is it still has brutal though?

I can remember the Prince be chopped into two halfs and spikes poking through is body. And it didn’t even have an age rating.
