Remedy has finally updated the official Alan Wake site to reveal a new video which you can see after the break. Also, there are some new screenshots over at Shacknews. The trailer is the one that was shown along with the Max Payne movie, apparently.
“We’re working hard on Alan Wake and want to make sure it meets and exceeds the awesome potential,” Remedy managing director Matias Myllyrinne noted today. “It’s still time to focus and we won’t be doing constant updates on the progress.”
“Naturally, we’ll be happy to share and show more about Alan Wake when we have the next live showing of the game,” he added.
Looking great, we think. Check it out.

Cool!
Characters don’t look as good as I expected, though. Would like to see it in HD.

@Smartypants, Will there be a Wii version?
Dude, 4 words sum it up, Dead Rising on Wii. That pretty much tells the sad story on 360 to Wii ports.
Damn this look INCREDIBLE!, The models do need some fine tuning but so far I love what I see.

Hmm. Character models look quite cardboard-like. They probably would have been great looking if Heavy Rain hadn’t come along and made everything else look shyte.

Just watched the hi-def version and it’s certainly a thumbs up. Very Stephen King, and the music is great. I can only hope that they actually get it finished sometime this generation.
